Running MR2100 Without Battery In Closed Case Overheat?

Hi just a we question, I have an M2 router I use for travelling but wanting to make more use out off it so wanting to put it in my car to run alongside the dashcam that has WiFi so I can view it remotely. I was wondering if I re.ove the battery and leave it in the closed zip case I bought for it would it overheat or would this be ok, it would be completely covered and hidden this way.
