Sale price for Nithawk M1 moble router

Recieved an email from Netgear showing a sale price for the

NIGHTHAWK® M1 Mobile Router (MR1100)

as $229.99 - clicked the link buy now but link to router showed the price as $349.99. Opened a case and provided a copy of the email and got a responding email stating the case was closed.  I expected a note saying something about the email price but that is not what I got.  Note - why send out an email giving sale prices but then not honnor the sale price listed in the email? Anyone seen this before?
