Sending SMS on an Aircard 762S?
In order to activate a special data offer I need to be able to send a text message (CHRISTMAS100 to 150), but neither the android app nor the Web interface seems to have any way to do this. Is there ANY way to do this at all? Or have I wasted my money?
After a lot of Googling and fiddling I found out that actually you can if you plug it into a computer by USB and connect to the USB serial port and send the appropriate AT commands. Bit of a fiddle though, pity you can't expose that functionality in the AirCard app instead of having to do it manually!

Sorry but the 762s can only recieve SMS but cant send them.
