Setting up an ORBI RBK50 to a Netgear MR6150 AT&T hotspot

I purchased a netgear MR6150 Hotspot with AT&T cellula, and an ORBI RKB50 Mesh network. I am trying to get the two units talking to each other with no luck. The 6150 is supposed to allow you to connect a local router to it. I downloaded the ORBI app but it could not find the hotspot. The hotspot is hardwired to the ORBI router. Can someone help me get my network going?

  • so take the mr6150's ethernet output and wire it into the orbi's wan port.

then put the orbi in access point mode.

That is the way I have it connected. I did get this unit going. I found out the ethernet port in the MR6150 was turned off. Naturally once I turned it on the system started working.

But then I came up with a different problem. I can connect to the Orbi and the hotspot via WiFi with a Win 11 system and my Iphones. But when I try to connect a Win 10 system to the Orbi or hotspot via WiFi it connects but says "Internet not available". I can hardwire the Win 10 system to the ethernet port of the Hotspot and connect with internet and no problems. I have tried two different Win 10 systems and neither will give me internet access via WiFi. So far Netgear support has not been any help. Any ideas form anyone would be appreciated. Thank You

For Windows 10 WiFi clients, please check to have the WiFi adaptor drivers updated on the PC side. This may help to resolve the WiFi connection issue.

        Thanks

Orbi app can't work with MR6150. To configure MR6150, it is better to use TouchUI or WebUI by visiting 192.168.1.1.

    Thanks
