Switching from MiFi 8800L to Nighthawk M6 Pro

I just wanted to follow up on this question by logging my actual experience.
When the Nighthawk M6 Pro arrived, I shut down my old Jetpack MiFi 8800L and removed the SIM card. I inserted the SIM card into the M6 Pro, plugged it in, and followed the very simple instructions for setting up the WiFi. Within a few seconds of powering on the device, I received an email from Verizon indicating that they recognized I'd swapped the SIM card. The email provided a link to complete the changes to my account on the Verizon website. My account already showed the correct device model and device ID. Since I already have an unlimited data plan, I simply answered a few questions and received a confirmation of device transfer with no additional charge to my Verizon account. It was one of the technically easiest things I've done. The new device is working great with my Verizon mobile service.
Thanks, could be but that post seems to be geared toward a new user who doesn't already have a Verizon plan. I'll try the SIM card swap first and if it gives me trouble, I'll head off to the Verizon store with both devices in hand. Appreciate the response.
