The Netgear Nighthawk M2 Wireless Broadband Router (MR2100) is a waste of money

My Brother MFC-J825DW multi-function printer is wirelessly connected to my Netgear Nighthawk M2 Wireless Broadband Router by WiFi 2.4GHz. Only devices connected by WiFi 2.4GHz can print to it. Devices connected by WiFi 5GHz or network cable cannot print to it. This problem did not occur with the Netgear Nighthawk M1 Wireless Broadband Router (MR1100).

Netgear have known about this issue for several years and have done nothing to fix it. Do they even care?
