USB Tethering not detected by Win7

Hi guys,
Device: AirCard 790s (firmware : NTG9X35C_11.11.05.00)
OS: Windows 7
Telephone operator: free mobile (france). You can google "apn free mobile" for technical infos about apn.

When I try to use my brand new AirCard 790s by USB, nothing happens.
The device is working OK on wifi, but as soon as I try to use it by USB tethering, nothing happens.
I suspect it's something in the settings or that the device is not detected, but unfortunately I'm not a geek and I don't know what to do to improve the situation
Any idea to help me ?
Thanks in advance (and sorry for my bad english)

  • Hum, the device is not detected. It's probably due to the usb 3 plug.
I've tried to download the intel drivers that I've found here and install them but my computer refuses...:(
Intel® 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family is on my computer and the link given by the knowledge base of netgear gives a link to C220 or C216. So I suppose the game is over.

I have the same problem and the same Chipset as you. Do you have found a solution?
