Use mobile hotspot as home internet

I am a very light user on internet. I don't stream video or stream very lightly. I think I will use at most 20GB a month.

Anyone is using the mobile hotspot from AT&T Verizon TMobile as primary internet connection at home? How is your experience.

    I have a friend who does this with his M1 Nighthawk from AT&T. He put the hotspot in bridge mode (so it no longer provides a wireless connection) and plugs in a router of his choice (He uses a Tenda Nova Mesh Network Router). 

     

    What hotspot do you use? Does it have external antenna ports? You can always run an external antenna for a signal boost.
