Using MR1100 with metal roof, very slow upload speed

We are using two of the MR1100s in our home to work remotely.  However, we constantly are dropped from Zoom calls and response can be slow.  Download speed showed 7 but upload was .11.

We have a metal roof and thought that could be causing problems, but even in the yard the upload speed did not increase.

Any suggestions on how to improve the speeds?
