Why is the generic firmware still lagging behind the AT&T firmware?

100NAS: NTG9X50C_12.06.11.00_00_GenericNA_05.03
2A1NAS: NTG9X50C_12.06.21.00_ATT_05.08

I'm curious as well. Is there ANY WAY to get a copy of AT&T firmware version NTG9X50C_12.06.21.00? My MR1100-2A1NAS refuses to find the update and thus I'm stock on 12.05.05.12. Or at least update the generic firmware!
