Wifi solutions without network provider

Hi - I have a flat in Spain which I visit 1-3 times a year. It has no telephone installation. I have been looking for possible solutions to get an internet connection at the flat without having to pay the monthly fees to Telefonica. Any suggestions using routers etc? We have mobile  phone networks of course but connecting via this is expensive so only practical for very short periods of time.
