DHCP Reservation GS308E
I recently bought a GS308E managed switch in the hope of assigning or reserving a ip address for 3 devices in my network. Is this even possible with this switch and if so, how would I do it?
No. This must be done on the DHCP server on your network, typically the Internet router.
Further on, these simple Web configurable switches are pure L2 devices, there is no DHCP server or the like (all L3 features).
Ok Thanks for the info, unfortunately I have a mesh wifi router so I don't think that is possible. Cheers.
