GS108Ev3 won't save Power Saving Mode
The Netgear GS108Ev3 Plus Switch running firmware V2.06.24EN will not save the Power Saving Mode setting on the Switch Information page. There are multiple bugs/deficiencies in the UI that cause this...
Thanks for the tip. While on the System > Management > Switch Information page I pressed Ctrl+Shift+J on my keyboard to open the JavaScript console in an Edge Browser.
After clicking the Enable radio button under Power Saving Mode I pasted the following into the console:
window.frames['maincontent'].document.pwrSaving.submit();
Since this was the first time using the console I was prompted to type "allow pasting"
I verified the power saving enable option persisted by rebooting the switch. Sure enough the Power Save Mode stayed enabled.
