GS108Tv1 Admin Page no longer functional after Firmware Update
The switch is still operational as a basic switch, but any and all attempts to discover any sort of administrative functionality have failed. There is no device discovered by DHCP. The default IP address of 192.168.0.239 is not functional. Smartwizard Discovery cannot locate the switch. Reset Factory Defaults does not appear to do anything whatsoever. I'm thinking the switch might need some low-level recovery work. I have noticed there is what is supposedly a 6-pin serial interface, J1, on the PCB as well as a 14-pin jtag header. Does anyone know how to use either of these interfaces to recover/reload the original working firmware? Or does anyone know of any other tricks to get the admin GUI to start working again?

Thanks for the response. The problem is more fundamental. The web administration interface is not even ARPing. It is completely DOA.
I advised you to access the product page of the GS108T switch here then click on the Guided Assistance button. Follow the online instructions to open a support ticket with the NETGEAR Support Team for a hardware check. If your GS108T switch has been declared faulty, be ready to submit a soft copy of the Proof of Purchase of your GS108T switch for warranty verification. If the hardware warranty is still valid, an online replacement will be processed.
