gs116ev2 V2.6.0.50 update does not apply
Hi, just updating the gs116ev2 to the firmware V2.6.0.50 released recently, have unzipped it - gone to maintenance, FW update, selected the bin file (called JGS516PE_GS116Ev2_V2.6.0.50.bin).
The switch shows an uploading screen, then immediately flicks to logged out login panel. When logging in the FW is still the last version. Rebooting it does nothing.
Any ideas?

Certain modern browsers (and overly smart-a**d Internet "security" programs) might prohibit filing and submitting forms (and even more uploading "obscure" binaries with .img or .bin file name extensions) whlie using plain clear text http.
What you describe does exactly is coming with this kind of taste...
Try an alternate browser, check the Internet Security package in place, ...
