Hello Jcam1967
And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂
Seems the issue could be lying on the PVID, Please try to change the PVID to 30 on both ports and see if you will be able to ping 10.10.30.1.
Now each subnet should have default gateway. But are you sure you have /24 for the subnet mask because you mentioned that you were able to ping 10.10.30.1(router) from 10.10.10.12/24. I assume your NICs are on static IP is this correct?
Have a lovely day,
Erwin

Hello Erwin, thanks for the reply.
You are correct. I'm using 10.10.10.0/24 and 10.10.30.0/24 as Class CWhen you say to change PVID to 30 on both ports, you mean P1&P5. I have tried that, but then I lose connectivity to my Lab LAN 10.10.10.0/24 that is connected to port 1. It makes sense... I think.
--------LAN--------10.10.10.1/24 Port 1 Port 2 ------------10.10.10.10/24 - GW 10.10.10.1/24 -Nic0
OPN Vnic0 Switch PC
-------Vlan30------10.10.30.1/24 Port 1 Port 5 ------------10.10.30.10/24 - GW 10.10.30.1/24 -Nic1
See screenshots .
Have a nice Day Erwin, thanks again

There is something basically wrong with our network and VLAN design:
You can't have Port #5 [U]ntagged associated to both VLAN 10 -and- VLAN 30
