JGS524EV2 LAG With Synology DS720+ Very Slow
Just purchased a Synology DS720+ NAS and tried to set up LAG w/ my Netgear Prosafe switch. Process is simple:
1. On NAS, bond both interfaces with IEEE 802.3ad Dynamic Link Aggregation.
2. Assign a static IP, GW and DNS to the bonded interface.
3. On the ProSafe switch, enable LAG ID 1
4. Assign two ports to LAG ID 1
Without the bond, my LAN speed test (openspee12dtest) clocks 985.8 Mbps Down and 975.9.4 Mbps up
With the bond, the speed test clocks 987.4 Mbps down and 157.1 Mbps up. The upload hesitates 1-2 seconds before running.
With the bond enabled, the Synology GUI is sluggish. Without it, the GUI is very fast.
What am I doing wrong?
