LAG with LACP GS752TXPv3 Windows Server

Hello,

I have a problem on a GS752TXPv3 with setting up a LAG with LACP for a Windows server (2-port Intel NIC) with NIC-teaming.

The Windows configuration ran stable for years on a GS752TXS without any change.
Teaming with LACP dynamic.

When I set up the LAG on the GS752TXPv3 and set it to LACP (source/destination MAC, incoming port), a broadcast storm starts when the server is plugged in and connectivity is restricted.

I can reproduce the issue with W2012R2 and W2022, Intel and Broadcom server-NICs, switch firmwares 6.2.1.32 and 6.2.2.15.

What am I doing wrong?

Best

  • I have now downgraded the firmware to 6.2.1.32. Now the connection works with one port without broadcaststorm, network detection works in the server.
    In the LACP-LAG still Broadcaststorm.

  • OK, I have now tried to connect the server to the switch with only one NIC port, without LACP, and a broadcast storm occurs in the same way, causing "Drop excess traffic"

However, other devices work perfectly on the switches.

    What is going wrong?
I have uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled the network cards to reset the parameters.

And again: This is reproducible on two different switches of that type with different servers.
