Well, that's not a Netgear problem. Can't see any reasons for not enabling Jumbo Frames on a modern home, SOHO, or Small Business Layer 2 LAN.
Pushing either of FullHD (HDMI plus some additional data channels) over Gigabit requires compression and a very healthy GbE network, pushing 4K UHD over a Gigabit network is almost impossible without heavy compression and massive frame loss. Most vendors have similar requirements, even the leading edge ZeeVee ZyPerUHD does require IGMP multicast snooping and Jumbo Frames of at least 8000 - when transmitting a 4K stream they take up about 400 Mb/s bandwidth - with massive compression, with frame loss and ways off correct sync HDMI transmission.
Two non-compressed, no frame loss 4K video streams are oversubscribing the bandwidth available on a 10GbE link. That's why AV pros are going towards SDVoE on at least 10G (for a single HDMI) or with switch embedded HDMI for uncompressed, almost latency free 4K/UHD or HDR content distribution. Check out Netgear SDVoE offerings paired with ZeeVee ZyPer4K encoders, decoders, and embedded switch HDMI ports. Thic can't be cheap.

These devices can be configured to use Unicast or Multicast. In Multicast mode (the preferred one, certainly if multiple connections or receivers are up) is Multicast.

Important
• When connecting through a Local Area Network, a managed gigabit switch is required. Jumbo Frame Support (8k or greater) and IGMP Snooping must be enabled.
• A dedicated LAN is not required but highly recommended.
• When using HDCP-encrypted content, only the HDMI inputs and outputs can accept and display the content.
• We recommend that Sender and Receiver are first connected directly and functionality/performance is fully verified before integrating them into a Local Area Network.

Note: Operating ICMP multicast on a non-managed switch, Ethernet bridge, Wireless AP, ... does lead to all multicast traffic flowing out all ports, and not just the one towards the receiver. That's why the vendor does require a managed switch - so IGMP snooping can be configured for the VLAN where the KVM is connected to.
You can try to block unknown multicast - if this does block the KVM multicast traffic, disable the unknown multicast blocking.
Not a Netgear switch issue at all...

Thanks, I'll try turning on IGMP and snooping, and jumbo frames. But now shopping for a different solution since it requires jumbo frames.
