Netgear GS716Tv3 delete VLAN 2 and 3

I'm using VLANs 2,3,4 on my network.  I just got a new GS716Tv3, and I noticed that there's already a Auto VoIP VLAN 2, and Auto -Video VLAN 3.  How can I remove them?  I changed the Auto VoIP VL...

    Hi tantony,

     

    Unfortunately, we cannot delete the VLAN 2 and 3 on this type of switches as it is installed by default. You may need to use other VLAN IDs instead.

You're correct.  I called Netgear support, and I had them remote in, and they couldn't delete it either.  I have to have those VLANs because I have them in my network already.  I also have 2 GS308T, and it came with a default VLAN 2, and I was able to modify it.  I'm returning the 716Tv3, and ordering a GS324T

 

I don't understand why Netgear won't let me delete anything but VLAN 1.  Shouldn't I have control of how my network is designed?

Thank you for bringing this up. I believe these are only the type of switches that can't be modified on VLAN as, by default, VoIP is always assigned as VLAN 2.
