Netgear GS752TPv2 changed VLAN tagging after reboot.
Good afternoon everyone! I have a Netgear GS752TPv2 switch (version: 6.0.2.5) with a few VLANs: 11 - Administrative 31 - VoIP 101 - Public While not on-site (don't you love when that happen...

Thank you for this information.
It is an excuse as I've only been managing this environment for 1 week, and do not believe in going gung-ho into a network. Document first my friend 🙂

Hi Kurr,
Welcome to the Community!
If the config has been saved, a sudden loss of power or reboot should not cause the port membership (tagging/untagging) at all. Could have been an isolated issue on your end. Have you considered scheduling downtime to see if the issue will persist by rebooting or powering off the unit?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Confirming, I have two Netgear JGS524PE switches and this has been happening to me on and off for >2 years. If there is a power outage (I have UPSs but if the outage outlasts them), they reboot with a seemingly singular change in VLAN configuration. It seems to always only affect the ports with my access points which of course is the most problematic. Very frustrating!
I read on some forums this may be a bug that others are seeing. Any solutions out there? Thinking about replacing these switches with another brand if no solution. Thanks in advance!

Please read the subject on this thread again please before confirming suspect oddities and possible bugs.

Be a little bit more informative. Start with the firmware version in place.
Talking of It's extreme unlikely, considering the same switch design and implementation in the field on the Netger Plus swiches (and on several other brands switch models btw.). I admit many might not intensively used and operting some slightly more complex configurations

Links and references please.
But please start with a new thread instead of necroposting on an older post, which clearly referring to a different model -and- switch class.
The only thing in common with the GS752TPv2 and the JGS524PE is the brand name.
