S3300 stack firmware

Hi,

i have 2 switch S3300 on a stack.

Firmware are older : 6.4.0.19

i would add a switch in this stack but firmware is more recent than on the stack :  6.6.0.14

On this Switch Image 1 : 6.6.0.14 and image 2 : 6.4.019

do you know if i can add switch with different firmware in a stack ( i think no, but maybe possible) ? or it's possible to boot on image2 ?

regards

Yes, you can add a switch on a different firmware but it will also be updated by the master switch. To avoid any problems, the best practice is to add the switch with the same firmware of the stack.
