Welcome to the community! :)
Can someone please provide the following information for JGS524? I need it to ship outside of the US.
US ECCN
CCATS
HTS Code
About the US ECCN, CCATS and HTS Code, kindly access and read the link below:
US Customs Compliance
Does this Switch operate on Layer 3? If not, what layer does the switch operate on?
The JGS524 is a Layer 2 switch.
Does this Switch have/use MIMO technology?
Does this Switch have/use SIMO technology?
Both MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) and SIMO (Single Input, Multiple Output) are for wireless communications and therefore NOT supported by the JGS524 switch.
Does this Switch use in ISP/TSP?
If you need to extend your LAN, you will need the JGS524 to connect more devices hardwired like PC, network printer, etc. Be reminded that the recommended setup would be: modem-router-JGS524. You will need an ISP subscription so that you can have internet access. The JGS524 does not support TSP.
The latest JGS524 switch model is the JGS524v2 (v = version). To know more about its specifications, kindly check its data sheet here.

Hi DaneA,
Thanks for the reply.
I looked at US Customs Compliance, I see several ECCNs listed, which one do I use for JGS524?
Also, I don't see HTS or CCATS mentioned.
Thanks
Ken

Glad to help - be aware I'm neither Netgear nor an import/export crack - but this should be fine so you won't be prosecuted 8-)
