Netgear XS508M hangs and recovers after power cycle
I have a client with a 10gbe network with 2 PCs 1 Syno Server and 1 Unraid Server connected the 1GBe networks run runs from an omada switch and both switches are uplinked to an omada router(ER 605). Every about 2 months the switch hangs (the other omada switch I have for gigabit works fine so I know its only the netgear that hangs) and the only way to recover it is to pull the cord to restart. After seconds the network is back up. this is the second time this happens the first time only one port became unresponsive but this time the whole Switched froze. other than that the switch is amazing.
Also is there on site swap in greece because my client cannot stay more than some hours without his 10gbe network because he ingests over 6 TB of videos per day. Thanks in advance.

Try the XS switch directly behind the host router and not daisy chained from the other switch?
What CAT# LAN cables are you using? CAT6A STP would be recommended.

I have the exact same problem and its been an issue for well over a year. If the switch has a loss of power, once restored, all port LEDs stay on/frozen and the switch hangs with no activity. I have to manually pull the power cord out from the PSU 1-2 times for the switch to become "unstuck" and continue its power-on cycle and resume operation.
After months of random freezes after a power loss, I finally managed to track down a likely culprit. I have my XS508m connected to a Mikrotik CCR router via the SFP+ combo port by DAC (direct attach copper pigtail) 1m cable to one of the Mikrotik's SFP+ ports. If I swap the combo port on the XS508m SFP+ to the 10Gbe port, the hangups no longer occur.
I believe there must be a hardware initialization/handshake or power delivery/voltage mismatch with the DAC cable I'm using and the NetGear doesn't agree with the SFP+ module on the DAC (Its a Mikrotik S+DA0001). I'm purchasing a Netgear AX761-compatible twinax (DAC) 1m cable in hopes that will solve the power-loss/power-cycle freezes.
If anyone else knows whats going on, anything will help. Thanks!

Something I found with my XS505M:
I had to swap the SPF port to connect down to my GS110MX and then use one of the standard RJ45 ports for the main connection to the main host router and this stopped the bad behavior.
I've not seen my switch hang after a power bump. However I don't have same devices as you. Possible some thing connecting on the SPF port or the SPF adapter could be hanging during a power bump.
How long is the power bump in the building when it happens? seconds or longer then that? I've seen some power bumps just a second or two then power it back ON.
