NetgearGs108
I just had a new Spectrum modem and a new Spectrum 4 port router installed in my home. I wanted more wired internet connections so purchased a Netgear GS108 switch. Plugged switch into one of the router ports, and plugged Sonos connect amp and Sonos subwoofer and Sonos Arc into switch. Immediately lost internet in house. Disconnected switch from router and internet returned. Tried different device connections to switch after reconnecting switch to router with same results. Spectrum support said that a switch cannot be used with Spectrum router-endorse of discussion. I find this odd as this is exactly why a switch would be utilized. Help/comments would be appreciated.

Sonos does make use of STP to support their wonderful multi-device environment. Unmanaged switches don't offer this feature I'm afraid. The problem is not the switch, much more the Sonos requirement for STP, among other to avoid loops over the wireless connoted Sons devices.
