Hi ABNJuan,
The 224 range is multicast traffic, it's not coming from outside your network but inside.. Please have a look at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multicast_address
What other traffic do you see come in to your network? The FVS318G (and all of Netgear's routers) default is to block *all* inbound connections unless it's a response to something that was initiated from the inside.
