Apr 06, 2013June,
I had all but given up trying to use RDP / RDC to connect to wife's laptop remotely.
Then today, to my amazement, I'm told by you that all OS's have it. So based on your senior stature in this forum with over 87,000 post I assumed I was wrong.
You then post a link which clearly states to the contrary and a reasonable person would wonder if you actually comprehend what you read. Below is an excerpt from YOUR link which you posted to validate your claim.
"You can't use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to computers running Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic, or Windows 7 Home Premium."
You made a statement, you stated that all OS have that option and again I'm looking to use it, so please help a fellow forum user and provide a link which I can use to fix my problem because I cannot seem to find it on my own.
Thanks Again,
Bill

All windows O/S XP and up will have RDP.
Also you will need to be aware that mixing old RDP version and new version can conflict if you do not setup correctly.
