FVS318N - Can't Access .. GUI problem
I'm trying to replace the WRN with the new FVS. Unfortunately, I cannot access the FVS anymore because the GUI for the old WRN appears instead of the purple and orange GUI associated with the FVS. Here's what happened:
1. I used 192.168.1.1 to access and configure the FVS. I reconfigured it to the correct settings for use on the home network, including changin its IP address to 10.1.1.1. Everything was working on LAN but not WAN;
2. The WAN wasn't working because I FORGOT about the MAC address setting on the FVS. I logged out of the FVS, plugged in the WRN and restarted the network so that I could read the correct MAC address for as configured in the WRN. I noticed the WRN uses different GUI.
3. I left the WRN GUI open on my Internet Explorer, but turned off the WRN. When I put the FVS back in I opened a new tab on the browser and typed in 10.1.1.1 but the GUI was the WRN one, not the FVS one.
4. I deleted my browsing history, hoping this would be the problem. But it wasn't. Now I can't get into the FVS at all. Tried 10.1.1.1, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, and routerlogin.net/ ... none will work on the FVS.
Question: Will the "Reset" button fix this? I have not tried it yet, having learned it's better not to reset things unless advised by the experts.
All help appreciated.
TIA
