Hi StrikedOut,
Have you tried to delete the existing VPN/IKE policies from the FVS336Gv2 then re-create it using the VPN Wizard? If not yet, kindly try it as well as having a whole new configuration on the Shrew Soft VPN Client software.

Hi.
I have recreated the VPN using the wizard and the profile on Shrew Soft but still get the same problem.

Hi StrikedOut,
You mentioned that there were ports opened. Kindly verify if these ports are really opened using this online port-checker tool.

The checked port (500, service isakmp) is offline/unreachable
Reason: Connection refused (111)
Portscan ran for 0.0523 secondsAs this is a VPN setup this is correct isnt it?

Hi StrikedOut,
The output from the screenshot you have posted means that port 500 is not opened. It should say "online/reachable" which means that the port is opened. You may need to check the firewall rules. It might be possible that all configurations are done properly but the port is not opened and this might be the cause why the Shrew Soft Client software does not connect.
