Prosafe SRX5308

The site I'm currently working at had one of the above devices installed, but it failed and I don't have any records of the settings or a copy of the config.
Whilst waiting for a replacement I configured(using details that had been recorded) a spare netgear firewall(a more basic model) to restore our connection to the net.
Onsite we have two domains, one of which is a 172.16.0.0 range and the other is a 192.168.0.0 range. Prior to the 5308 going 'bang' it was possible to see the 172 devices from the 192 network, but that is no longer the case.
Please can anyone assist with this issue?

    Me either......

  • Which "spare" router are you using? Read my LAN Subnets NOT to Use tutorial.
  • An FVS338, which I've set up 'multi-homing' on and computers on both Domains can reach the net.........
  • if you use multi homing then you should communicate between the subnets
  • If I try pinging a server on the 172.16.1.0 network from a PC on the 192.168.10.0 then I get 'host unreachable'...........
