Setup Default Static Route on Netgear SRX5308
I am looking to setup a default route to my ISP Consumer Edge switch (We have Metro Ethernet Service with our ISP).
After speaking with my isp I have been instructed to enter a static defualt route of 0.0.0.0/0 to the next hop being our Consumer edge Switch provided by the ISP.
When I attempt to add a static route on the 5308 via Web/Telnet I get the same error. Error is = "destIP IP address AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD where each part is in the range 0..255"
Goal is to be able to add (Destination IP= 0.0.0.0 Subnet= 0.0.0.0 Interface= WAN1 Gateway IP Address= ISP Consumer Edge router Metric=2)
Is there a way to do this successfully on the Netgear?
Thanks
Jarad
