Hi nextwavepc,
The LAN-to-WAN Throughput of the SRX5308 is 924Mbps which is greater than your subscribed speed (150Mb/25Mb) from your internet service provider (ISP) and this should be fine. Let us isolate the problem. Kindly answer the questions below:
a. Was it working fine before even before upgrading the firmware of the SRX5308?
b. If you have just upgraded to the latest firmware which is v4.3.5-3, did you perform a factory reset right after upgrading the firmware of the SRX5308? If not yet, I suggest you to factory reset the SRX5308 then reconfigure it from scratch to start clean using the latest firmware version.
c. Is the SRX5308 set as the main router wherein the WAN IP Address is registered to it?
d. How is everything connected? It would be best if you post a diagram of your detailed network setup.

Thanks for the reponse.
it was was not working well prior to the firmware upgrade, which is why we installed the current firmware as an attempt to resolve.
Yes, the srx5308 is the main router, with all traffic going through it.
We have a netgear switch with all connetions in it, and the switch is then connected to the srx5308 on the lan and the wan1 is connected to our isp.

Just following-up on this. Here are my follow-up questions:
a. If you will disconnect the SRX5308 from the modem then connect a PC directly to the modem, are you able to access the internet just fine?
b. Are there any firewall rules configured on the SRX5308? If yes, kindly try to disable all of it and check the internet connection.

Kindly try the steps below:
1. On the web-GUI of the SRX5308, go to Security > Firewall > Attack Checks.
2. Uncheck the boxes that says "Block TCP flood" and "Block UDP flood."
Note: If both boxes are already uncheck, check both boxes then click Apply. Then, uncheck both boxes and click Apply.
3. Click Apply.
4. Observe the internet connection through the SRX5308.
