AC1200 EX6120
Pls help. Haven't used in awhile. Need at new residence. I factory reset. Connected to home router as I can see it on the wifi network lists on devices but trying to connect asks for password. Tried using home router pw but says incorrect. Searched many sites explaining what to do but not working. Says not connected to extenders network. Used to be so easy, now no clue what to do. My router is Bellxxx, the extender showing Bellxxx_2gext and _5gext. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

If you reset the extender, then you likely used WPS to connect it to the router. The WiFi password for the extender should be the same password as you use with the main router. But apparently that is not working.
There are two ways to proceed. One is to connect a PC to the extender with ethernet. Then you can either browse to http://www.mywiwiext.net or alternatively to the IP address for the extender (which you are seeing in the home router).
The other way is to reset the extender again. The extender wifi name should be NETGEAR_EXT. Join that network, and browse to http://www.mywifiext.net. The workflow instructions start on page 11 of the manual.
