Is it possible to use the main router SSID and password for the wireless access point (Wax218)
Is it possible to use the main Fios wireless router SSID and password for the Netgear wireless access point (wax218) so that no matter where one is in a large building, one will be connected?
Presently, a Verizon wireless Fios router covers the front part of the building with a unique SSID and password creating one LAN. The wireless Wax218 with a different SSID and password handles the back of the building creating a second LAN. Though it is working fine, it is a nuisance because devices cannot "talk" to each other.
I am asking if the Wax218 may be assigned the same SSID and password as the Fios wireless router so that they are on the same LAN and all devices will be connected on the same LAN as well? Will it work?
If so, advice on how to do this will be appreciated.
