Issues with Netgear WAX206
I have a Netgear WAX206 installed as AP (Firmware 1.0.4.0) via network cable to a router in a SOHO environment (~12-15 devices). Every few days one or more devices either lose connection to the AP or can not connect to the AP ('The device can not connect to the specified network'). The log has multiple entries of the type '[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address xx.xx.xx.xx'. Oddly this happens to one or two devices at a time, the others continue working fine. It have happened with PCs, Android and iOS phones and tablets. The only solution I have is rebooting the AP, which resolves the issue. No network connection rejection happens for a day or three, then suddenly the problem occurs again and the log fills up with the entries of the same type as above. Occasionally , the issue disappears on its own with time (e.g. few minutes or an hour later) even without rebooting and the device connects back to the AP and works normally again.
When connected with the router WiFi (different room) this issue never ever happens.
This is very frustrating and have happened in the middle of important video calls, etc.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the community! 🙂
What is the type of WiFi security set on the SSID? Is it set to WPA/WPA2 Enterprise, WPA-Personal [TKIP] + WPA2-Personal [AES], WPA2 Personal [AES] or WPA3- Personal?
If the WiFi security is set to None, does same problem occur? Let us try to set the WiFi security to None then observe.

Thank you for responding!
My security is WPA2-personal. I will give your suggestion a try and get back with the observations.
- IndymusicianAspirantThe same thing started happening to me recently, and it's getting worse. It happens several times per day now. The log shows all wireless devices get an access denied security error and they all go offline, with the devices showing a connected with no internet error. Anything wired stays online. It is in AP mode with WPA2 Personal (AES). It has worked fine for a long time. There is no reason all of the connected devices should fail security all at once like that. Something is amiss.
