WAX206

I am using WAX206 as an WAP but noticed two things:

- My partners iPhone cannot connect to it at all while my Android phone connected when I disabled randomised  MAC address option.

- After switching on access control (MAC filtering) even devices on the whitelist are not allowed to connect sporadically. Meaning that they are allowed to connect and then after a while disconnected which requires the WAX 206 restart. When access control is off - connectivity is normal.

Can someone shed some light on these two issues. I would like to run MAC filtering as an extra security layer.

  • Hi decky999

Is WAX206 in AP/Router Mode ?, Can we get the Firmware version of the WAX206 and Iphone model and IOS version details. I will check it internally and update the case.

    Thanks,
