Connecting RBR850 with RBS20

From what I've read, and according to Netgear, the AX systems are not compatible with the AC systems. So since your RBR850 is AX and your RBS20 is AC, they will not connect.

Thank you, that sounds very helpful!
What would be a good satellite option from the lower pricing end?

ChrisUpon further searching you may be able to LAN wire connect RBS20 to the RBR850 only.
Sticking with AX an Orbi RBS750 satellite would be a cheaper choice over and RBS850. It's still pretty pricey, but would be compatible with your RBK853.

Please be sure to post about Orbi AX questions over in the Orbi AX forum:

The only RBS AC that is somewhat compatible is the RBS50Y which needs to be in extender mode. You can connect RBS50 and RB20 series to Orbi AX via ethernet is all. I've heard information the NG isn't going to make Orbi AC compatible with AX. Possibly too many complex configurations to make them work well together.
Good Luck.
