Is the drop in speed only when connected to the satellite, or also when connected to the Orbi router?
The first step is almost always to measure the speed delivered by the modem (in the evening when the problem occurs).
If the Orbi was originally in access point (AP) mode, then the modem must be a combination modem/router.
