CAX30 - Video Buffering
Hi - things have improved for me with the beta overall, but I am now having persistent issues with video buffering. I have solid internet speeds, and I am the only one on my network. I'm wondering if...

Changing to channel 44 on 5 Ghz seemed to do the trick!

What devices are you using to video stream?
Was this happening before you applied the beta FW?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
et 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Is Smart Connect enabled?
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I'm using an iMac. I didn't recognize this issue before the beta firmware. I changed the channel for 5Ghz. That may have done the trick - I just tried watching a video that I was trying to watch yesterday and it is now working. I'll keep you posted in this thread.
To your other question: yes, I have "smart connect" enabled.
Note that after I made the chance to my wireless channel and things rebooted, I now am continually getting an error on my "Wireless" tab (under both Basic > Wireless and Advanced > Setup > Wireless Setup)

I recommend doing a factory reset and setup from scratch. I also have this version and ran into a couple of odd issues that were resolved at I FR my cax30 and setup from scratch on my Mac Book Pro 2018.
