To your other question: yes, I have "smart connect" enabled.
Note that after I made the chance to my wireless channel and things rebooted, I now am continually getting an error on my "Wireless" tab (under both Basic > Wireless and Advanced > Setup > Wireless Setup)

The default channel was 153 and that was glitching a lot. I only tried 44 as you had recommended to choose one in the 40's.

Ok. Good to hear.
I'm using 161 currently. I'll keep lower 40s in mind as well. I normally use channel 40 anyways.
