Can the current switch structure be changed to a mesh configuration?
We have a switch configuration in a tree structure consisting of M4300 24XF-Nodal -Fiber, M4300 24X-Nodal -RJ45, M4300-52GPOE Control -MediaServer, M4250 26G4FPOE Control-OpRoom, M4300-52GPOE-Dante, ...

Is it possible for data to find its way to the IP even without a router?
Yes, of course. Routing (L3) does always have more overhead then a pure L2 switched network.

Any specific issues you are behind?

Reading to much consumer WiFi marketing? Mesh networking has not made it into the switched Ethernet world.

First of all, I'm not a networking expert. Currently, our network topology is configured in a tree structure using M4250 and M4300 switches. However, for some reason, we are experiencing network issues that cause the entire network to go down.
As a brief thought, although it may not be a fundamental solution to the problem, I wondered if changing the network topology from a tree to a mesh could potentially allow for transmission to be routed to the other side in case of issues on one side.
