Crestron Officially Certifies NETGEAR M4300 Switches
This is big news! Our M4300 switches have already been deployed with Crestron ® DM NVX ® encoders & decoders already, but now Crestron's team has officially certified the M4300 switches...
Has the firmware been changed to enhance the PoE powers to support the power needs of the NVX?
The availability of IEEE 802.3bt-2018 aka. PoE++ vs802.3at Po+ isn't a firmware thing alone, the hardware does define Athe amount of power available to each switch port. Firmware updates can't cause a switch to provide more power.
Certainly, Netgear has switches available (M4250/M4300 Series) which can provide the PoE++ required.
