VLAN DHCP setup
Hello Netgear community,
AV professional trying to learn networking basics here, and we are stuck on some basics on how to make our M4250-series switches work as DHCP router.
So, basically we want all our NDI endpoints set to DHCP and make our switch assign a IP adress in a desired range. We're capable in setting up VLANs and making everything in our network function with static IP adresses, but in a more complex setting we want our endpoints set to DHCP for easy configuration.
We want our VLANS to have different IP ranges, but a management VLAN should also be able to see "all" VLANS for control purposes.
Can someone please give a step-by-step explanation on how to go forward to make this work?
We're using M4250 series switches only.
Regards,
Norwegian networking newbie
