Armor and security cameras

VPN protection is available through my workstation, for devices attaching to my wireless network. However, because of the nature of my home security system devices, I cannot provide VPN protection for those devices (most specifcally, the camera).

I understand I can subscribe to a service with Netgear called "ARMOR" which will apparently offer a layer of protection at the point of entry into my network. Would a subscription to ARMOR provide protection against hackers for my security system and camera?

Many thanks!

John

  • Hi John,

Armor protects devices connected to the network. Therefore, your security system should be protected.
