Armor on RBR50 used only in AP mode
Hi there, I am considering to buy armor to protect all my devices and protect my wifi network at home. However I only use my Orbi as an access point and not as router. So for example I do not see ...
It is connected to a "ziggo connect box" which is in fact a compal-ch7465LG which is a cable router.
And I know I could use both routers, I had that in the past but that was a lot of hasle using port forwarding rules etc etc.
If you're wanting to use Armor, you'd need the Orbi in router mode.
You could put the compal in passthrough/modem only more or leave it in router mode and put the orbi's ip address into its DMZ.
