Delayed NETGEAR Armor enabling

I installed a Netgear R7850 back on 2/16/2020.  On 3/4/2020 I started getting "Armor detected a new device" notifications for everything in my house.  After some Googling I learned that these were from NETGEAR Armor software.  Why would I have only started to get these messages now?  I never got anything like that when I set up the router, and I know for a fact that I haven't made any changes to the router since setting it up, such as enabling the NETGEAR Armor software.  It was a bit unnerving getting these messages all of a sudden -- made me think my network was getting hacked.  Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the community! Would you mind confirming if you still have Armor enabled and if you're on the trial. If you're on the trial, may you let me know how many days you have remaining.

      Thanks for the reply, Christian. Yes, Armor is still enabled. I just don't think it was enabled back when I first installed the router because I didn't receive any messages from Armor until much later, but I also never enabled Armor myself. My Armor trial expires on 3/17/2020.
