Does NETGEAR Armor work with WiFi extenders/AP devices?

I was wondering if Netgear Armor works if using a WiFi extender or Wireless Access Point device?

Thinking of improving coverage of my existing network in my living room with an extender or AP but I want to make sure Armor would still be functional with the additional hardware.

Thanks!

Armor runs off the primary router. In routers that function just an as access point, its disabled.  If you're using an extender, armor doesn't run on the extender but it'll still connect through the extender (from your router) to your devices.

So if you already have armor running on your router, it'll still work on those devices.

If you're thinking of buying armor to run on your extender, it won't work like that.

      Thanks!

Ah, so just to be clear:

Armor would still be protecting the devices connected to the extender as the extender is connected to the primary router which has Armor running it?

It should. It did when I had an extender connected to my router running a trial version of armor.
