I use the iphone app so here's what i did while in the app:
In the upper left-hand corner there is a icon of a circled house. Click that
Next choose "Settings"
Next choose "Security"
Turn off the "Enable NETGEAR Armour" switch.
hope that helps.

Perfect!
I was able to do this on my Android based Orbi App as well.- icanhelppplMay 03, 2019Initiate
For iOS click the cloud in the top left corner then settings then security then you may toggle it off from there!

If you find that restarting your IOS Orbi app isn't showing you the options you expected, follow these steps:
On IOS you now need to
1) Login to Orbi app
2) Tap the Home icon top left corner
3) Tap Settings at the top of the menu
4) Tap Security near bottom of new menu
It'll say it's validating your account, then load a new screen where at the top you can toggle NetGear Armor to it's best position, OFF!
- IanB1015Mar 29, 2020AspirantWhile this is helpful shutting it off, I wish I could exclude IP addresses entirely from the app or from the router GUI. It would make life a whole lot easier because I only want to exclude the one work device.

How did you get it "shut off"?
- superswimmermomMay 08, 2020TutorNo matter how many times I turn off armor in settings/security, it is still activated. I do not want this trial subscription and I hate this orbi router. Customer support is abysmal and the product came without instruction manual. Told me to log into their website. Without internet I could not do so.
- superswimmermomMay 08, 2020TutorTrial subscription to armor bitdefender is totally screwing up everything connecting to router. I toggle it off in settings but it remains activated. I hate this router and NETGEAR as a company. Customer support is abysmal.
- superswimmermomMay 08, 2020TutorDid that but it is still activated
