How to update firmware
I'm trying to boost the signal strength on my extender. I've never updated the firmware and probably need to start there. How do I update the firmware? I click on the download, but all I get is a ...

Still doesn't help me. The instructions make no sense and the link for firmware update just download a image file. On top of that I get an error message that the image file is corrupt?
The firmware update link with instructions that DarrenM linked to even has a video. did you watch it? It walks you through the update.
And you do need the image file but you need to make sure you have extracted it from the zip file you downloaded. I just did this just to make sure it was good and everything worked for me.
so:
1. download the file
2. Extract it.
3. Use this extracted file for the upload.
