Is Bitdefender install on a laptop necessary if it never leaves Netgear Orbi Router RBR50

Hello and thank you for your help!

 

I'm wondering if it is necessary to install bitdefender on my pc laptop if it never leaves my house and is always connected to my wifi. My wifi is provided by Netgear Orbi Router RBR50 (I have purchased bitdefender for the router).

    Hi amoulton5 ,

    No, it's not mandatory to install Bitdefender security software on a laptop for Armor to work on your router. Since the security software on the laptop has a lot more features such as microphone monitor, system optimizer, etc., that can protect your laptop, it's highly recommended to do so as an added layer of security.
